On the 18 and 19 May, the NSW Rail Museum will be open with steam train rides, blacksmith demonstrations, driver’s cab visits, a steam and vintage park, mini-train rides and more.
While the full list of details of the 2024 festival is yet to be announced, if previous years are anything to go by, visitors can expect Thirlmere to be abuzz with market stalls, live performances, vintage car shows, street parades, and all the activities at the NSW Rail Museum, including the much-loved steam train rides.

Cost: TBD FOR 2024. Last year’s prices: Museum Only: $15 adults, $10 concession, $5 child (2-17yrs). Museum + Train Ride: $30 adult, $20 concession, $10 child (2-17yrs). Infants under 2 are FREE.
